MADIX MADI (AES-10)
Network Interface Module
The MADIX is a member of the Lab X MIX network interface module family which implements MADI (Multichannel Audio Digital Interface, AES-10). Featuring fiber as well as coaxial connections, the MADIX provides 64 channels of digital audio in both directions. The MADIX is a flexible network interface platform that utilizes a powerful FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) core to provide Lab X’s own MADI implementation IP. The MADIX’s electrical and mechanical interface is compatible other Lab X MIX network I/O modules (and Cirrus Logic CM-1/CM-2 modules), thus offering products to be developed with flexible I/O interfaces with only minimal modifications to host interface code.
