Network Interface Module
The ESX-100 is a second generation EtherSound implementation featuring ES-100 support for ring redundant topologies. The ESX-100 is a flexible network interface platform that utilizes a powerful FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) core to provide EtherSound™ network connectivity with customer defined audio I/O and GPIO configuration. The ESX-100′s electrical and mechanical interface is compatible other Lab X MIX network I/O modules (and Cirrus Logic CM-1/CM-2 modules), thus offering a migration path for existing systems to EtherSound™ with only minimal modifications to host interface code.
